All public or private swimming pools must be fully enclosed by buildings, fences, or walls 4–7 feet high, constructed so that a child cannot access the pool from the street or adjacent property without opening a gate/door or climbing the barrier.

Additional requirements:
• Fence openings must be 4 inches or less

Tripoli Fire is honored to award the 2026 "Andy Anderson" award to the Tom Sexton family.
The Andy Anderson award is awarded annually to someone who goes above and beyond the call of duty, helping to make Tripoli Fire 1% Better. Every Day. These award winners must embody the spirit of its original award winner, Andy Anderson, who for many years helped Tripoli Fire in a multitude of ways.

This years award winners, the Sexton family, and American Savings Bank Tripoli a location of Readlyn Savings Bank, answered the call when a request for fundraising assistance towards our SCBA compressor project. At a bank board meeting, two Tripoli Fire officers began presenting the project, and shortly after beginning, Tom Sexton spoke up and stated "This seems like a no-brainer, make it happen."
After a short conversation, the funding challenge was set. If Tripoli Fire could raise $25,000, the bank would match it!

Without the donation match, it is hard to say what would have happened, but we are thrilled to say because of the donation match and the donations received, our air compressor will be delivered in 2026!

From all of us at Tripoli Fire, we wish to express our gratitude to the Tom Sexton family for all they do for our department and our community!

We also awarded our annual service anniversary pins to Tyler Simon, Cody Funk, Andrew Boldt, Aaron Goodenbour, Travis Holm , Marv Christensen and Jordan Shonka.

We finished off the night with our keynote speaker, Nick Dinges from Sublette Fire in central Illinois.

Thanks for the continued support!
