The Trion Fire Class 25-02 training program commenced with 9 firefighters from various fire departments throughout Chattooga County. Following four weeks of intense training, the week began with structural search and rescue training. This evening, Class 25-02 acquired knowledge on packaging a downed firefighter and utilizing the Drag Rescue Device “DRD”. They also successfully completed the nuts and bolts search drill and concluded the night with a group exercise rescuing a downed firefighter. This exercise involved entering the second story via a ladder, locating the downed firefighter using the sound of their PASS device, properly packaging and removing the down firefighter up the stairs and out of the top floor exit to safety. All three firefighters successfully completed the training, demonstrating exceptional skill. These individuals have shown remarkable dedication, passion, and drive. Please join me in congratulating them on their outstanding performance and dedication. With four weeks remaining until graduation, I have no doubt that they will excel and receive their state certification. Their hard work has earned them a well-deserved place in the fire service. 🚒 Trion Fire Department Boot Drive for Ayla’s Family ❤️

This Sunday, the Trion Fire Department will be hosting a boot drive to help support the family of Ayla, who has been facing serious health challenges. Our firefighters will be out in the community collecting donations to help with medical and family expenses during this difficult time.

Every dollar dropped in the boot makes a difference! 💵👢

Come out, show your support, and help us lift up this precious family with love, prayers, and generosity. Together, our community can make a real impact.
