🚛 City Haul Event – Clean Up & Clear Out! 🌿🗑️

The City is hosting a City Haul event where residents can bring items for disposal, including:
✔️ Garbage
✔️ Electronics
✔️ Yard waste

📍 Location: 6703 NC Hwy 62
📅 Dates & Times:
• Thursday, April 30: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday, May 1: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday, May 2: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This is a self-service event, so please be prepared to unload your own items.

🚨 Solid Waste Service Update – City of Trinity 🚨

Beginning Monday, March 23, residents will be limited to one garbage cart pickup per week unless they are currently paying for an additional cart. This has been standard for residents. Our partners at Meridian Waste have been helping us through the transition period by picking up additional carts but that will be ending this week.

If you are not currently paying for a second cart but would like to add one, an additional fee of $11.25 per month can be added to your bill. This will allow for weekly pickup of a second garbage cart.

Residents interested in adding a second cart or learning more are encouraged to contact City Hall at 336-431-2841.

🌿 Yard Waste Pickup Reminder & Schedule 🌿

Residents can refer to the Yard Waste Pickup Calendar in this post to find their scheduled service day. Yard Waste will be picked up on MONDAYS of your assigned week.

Monday is A week.
Tuesday is B week.
Wednesday is C week.
Thursday is D week.

Please follow these guidelines to ensure collection runs smoothly:

• Yard debris includes trimmings from bushes and plants.
• Leaves must be placed in compostable bags.
• Tree limbs must be no larger than 4 feet long and 4 inches in diameter.
• Limbs should be stacked neatly no higher than 4 feet.
• Only one pile per residence will be collected.
• Commercially produced yard waste will not be collected. If a contractor performs the work at your property, the contractor is responsible for hauling and disposing of the debris.

Following these guidelines helps our crews collect materials safely and efficiently for everyone.
