Over the next three days, 350–400 visitors from across Colorado will be exploring our community, supporting local businesses, and experiencing everything Trinidad has to offer. This is a fantastic opportunity to increase foot traffic, boost sales, and create lasting connections with new customers.

Deadline Alert, Trinidad Creatives!

Time is almost up to be part of something truly special! CREATE Trinidad is gearing up to host the 2026 Colorado Creative Industries Summit, bringing artists, innovators, and cultural leaders from across the state right here to Trinidad—and we want your work to be front and center.

As part of this exciting, statewide event, we’ll be showcasing small, original works of art on dining tables throughout the summit—giving your pieces incredible visibility to hundreds of attendees.

Submission Highlights:
• Original artwork, ready for sale
• You set your price
• 90% commission to artists (CREATE Trinidad retains 10%)
• Open to a variety of mediums: jewelry, painting, ceramics, fiber, leather & more
• Must be tabletop-sized (under 10 inches high)
• Submit up to 10 pieces
• Juried selection (approx. 120 works chosen)

CALLING ALL COLORADO ARTISTS

Be part of history in the making.
In celebration of Colorado’s 150th anniversary—and the nation’s 250th—a private foundation is commissioning a large-scale tapestry that tells the story of our state: past, present, and future. This is your opportunity to create a lasting, meaningful work that connects communities to Colorado’s rich and evolving narrative.

Project Highlights:
• Open to Colorado-based artists or artist teams
• Budget: $50,000 (includes artist fee, labor & materials)
• Scale: 9–12 ft high x 5–9 ft wide
• Timeline: June–November 2026
• Includes statewide community engagement + storytelling components
