The Summer Kickoff is upon us! Join us in Tribune this Friday and Saturday for Community-Wide Garage Sales, Prairie Palooza, and the Gavin B. Kleymann Memorial Livestock Show!

Garage Sale Maps are available at Eagle Convenience, Gooch's Foods, and Thumper Hardware. You can also find a PDF online at www.greeleycounty.org.

Prairie Palooza fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with an open swim at the Greeley County Swimming Pool. Dinner, served by the Greeley County Amusement Association, starts then, too! Hamburger and hot dog meals will be available.

At 6:30, we'll welcome Weston Wilkerson to the stage. Weston Wilkerson, a fourth-generation farmer and rancher, is from Manter. When he’s not farming and ranching with his family, he loves writing songs and performing; he says he gets a thrill out of playing for a live audience. A graduate of Garden City Community College and West Texas A & M, Weston will bring his highly-relatable roots and country sound back to Greeley County for this Friday night’s performance.

Saturday, the Gavin B. Kleymann Memorial LIvestock Show kicks off at 8 a.m. In a change from past year’s events, all shows, including sheep, goats, swine, and beef, will be held on Saturday. Swine weigh-in is scheduled for 7 a.m.; sheep and goat weigh-in begins at 12 noon; and cattle will weigh-in at 4 p.m.

Community-Wide Garage Sales will continue from 8 a.m. - 12 noon.

Community-wide garage sales are being scheduled for Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6, 2026. Local garage sales typically run on Friday and/or Saturday. Sign-up below to have your name added to the map!

Sunday is gearing up to be a entertaining, busy day in downtown Tribune. The Family Kitchen, The Uptown, and Thumper Hardware will be open, two food trucks will be set up, and classic cars will line up along Broadway for the Greeley County Museum's second annual car show! Smokey and the Bandit will show at the Star Theater of Tribune at 4 p.m. and Fortanel Bakery will be open for dinner, too.

Grab the family and head out for an afternoon of fun!
