A County Commissioner is an elected, part-time legislator at the county level of government. The seven members of the Mercer County Board of County Commissioners are elected at-large to three-year staggered terms. State statutes determine the number of County Commissioners based on county classification and population. The Board has a Chair and Vice-Chair; these positions are rotated amongst board

Today we honor the Stars and Stripes: a symbol of the freedom, unity, and the values that bring us together as Americans.

Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the United States flag on June 14, 1777, and serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by generations of service members, veterans, and citizens who have helped shape our nation.

As we proudly display our flag, let us reflect on the principles it represents and the shared commitment we have inherited, to preserve those principles for future generations.

Today, the Mercer County Board of Commissioners held the first budget workshop of the year. From public works to human services, every dollar is part of a larger plan to keep Mercer County thriving.
These sessions are where we dive deep into the numbers to ensure your tax dollars are being used efficiently to support:

🛣️ Infrastructure & Road Improvements

🛡️ Public Safety & Health Services

🎓 Educational Initiatives

This is the foundation for how our county operates in the coming year. We encourage all residents to stay informed as we work to balance growth with fiscal discipline.

We’re breaking down the numbers to ensure a stronger, more efficient future for all residents. Transparency in action. 📈🏛️ We believe an informed community is a stronger community.
