Good morning Jones County!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Services by Nate (Pollocksville, NC) for going ABOVE AND BEYOND to assist one of our Seniors on yesterday with lawn services. We just asked if he would be willing to mow the driveway that lead to the gentleman’s home BUT he did SO MUCH MORE than that! Our Senior was so grateful for the acts of kindness shown to him and he showed extreme appreciation for the help he received!

Mr. Nate, thank you! And thank you to all of the other wonderful people who reached out and were MORE than willing to assist us!

Kindness goes a long way.

Immediate Assistance needed!

Is there anyone available AND willing to volunteer some much needed lawn care services for a senior? The residence is located in Pollocksville, NC and the gentleman is in dire need of having his lawn mowed as soon as possible. Providing this service will help us tremendously. We would like to thank everyone who attended the Scam Jam/Fraud Presentation on today! Our seniors were given some very important information about the current scams and other fraudulent activities affecting our older adults.

A huge thank you to Amy Harris (SECU-Trenton) for coming and sharing this much needed information. Our seniors were able to ask some great questions. A huge thank you to Stephanie Bias (SMP Coordinator) for for sharing her expertise and our “Senior Shuffle” CEO Hallie for getting our seniors moving after having their refreshments!

Lastly, we would like to send a special thank you to Olivia Caviness, from Relay of North Carolina, for coming in and providing information about Telecommunication services for individuals who are Deaf, Blind, or Hard of Hearing. She was a specially-sent blessing to us at the right time!!
