Looking for a cozy way to spend an afternoon while making a difference? Join us for our Knitting Circle at the Westfield Center! 💙

Whether you love knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, embroidery, or other fiber arts, bring your current project or use the supplies we provide. Together, we’ll create handmade items for those in need, including members of our local homeless community. ❤️

This is a relaxed, social gathering—not a formal class! Come connect with fellow crafters, share ideas, enjoy some creative time, and give back to our community. 🧵🪡

🎬🎶 MELODIES AT THE MUSEUM! 🎶🎬

Join Trenton Parks & Recreation for a special trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 1–3 PM!

Enjoy a special screening of Down to Earth, the delightful 1947 American musical romantic comedy, featuring live musical accompaniment by renowned pianist David Drazin! Following the performance, participants will have approximately 45 minutes to explore the museum on their own. Complimentary cookies will also be provided after the concert.

✨ This is a FREE event! Registration and a waiver form must be completed by October 8th.

📍 Kennedy Recreation Center
🚌 Bus pickup: 12:15 PM
👥 Must be 55+ and a resident of Wayne, Macomb, or Oakland County.

Grab your passport and get ready for a Halloween adventure the whole family will enjoy! Join Trenton Parks & Recreation and DYPAC for the Passport to Halloween Walk, featuring an original live performance that’s designed to be more merry than scary! 🎭✨

Along the trail, you’ll experience Halloween fun for all ages before enjoying complimentary cider and donuts 🍎🍩. Then, hop aboard the hay wagon tractor ride back to the Westfield Center! 🚜
