While we don't have a new pewter ornament for sale this year, the Friends of the Library have extras of the ones we have sold before.
In case you are missing any from your collection, here are the ones we have. There are some we only have a few of: Dyer Mercantile (now Gross Furniture), Case Hardware, Odd Fellows building, Sitton’s Mill, Trenton Methodist Church, New England Church, Dade County Jail, Dade County School (the old gray building), Commissary in Rising Fawn, McBryar House, Dade County Courthouse, Train Depot, Lookout Mtn. Hotel, Davis School, New Salem Methodist Church, Dade Elementary, Northwest Georgia High School, Wildwood Post Office.

The Friends of the Library will have an Abstract Art Auction at the Library starting tomorrow, Saturday, September 13, at 10:30 AM. It is a Silent Auction and you may bid at the library or online at the Dade County Public Library page. The auction will end next Saturday, September 20 at Noon.

When you visit the newsly renovated Historic Courthouse, be sure and go by the Cornerstone Gift Shop there and see all the local art and other items. Pewter ornaments of the Courthouse are on sale there.
