This week, our Battalion Commander, briefed Brigadier General Laughman, Commanding General of the 316th ESC.

LTC Bouton provided an update on the battalion’s readiness and ongoing preparations, highlighting the hard work of the 462. Brigadier General Laughman offered guidance and emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum as the battalion moves toward upcoming mission requirements.

This week, the 462 staff attended the Mid-Planning Workshop (MPW) in preparation for this training year’s major event. Throughout the workshop, the team demonstrated outstanding professionalism, initiative, and teamwork.

The staff produced high-quality products, coordinated effectively across warfighting functions, and displayed a clear understanding of the mission and higher-headquarters intent. Their ability to think ahead, refine processes, and synchronize efforts has placed the battalion well ahead of current requirements.

The 462 staff conducted the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to develop and refine operational plans. The staff worked collaboratively to analyze the mission, develop courses of action, and brief the Battalion Commander for approval. The process concluded with the development of a complete operations order (OPORD), demonstrating the staff’s ability to plan and synchronize complex sustainment operations effectively.

Soldiers of the 465 TC CO perform their Annual Training mission during the Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise (QLLEX). The exercise brings together fuelers, water purification specialists, transporters, coordinators, and field service supporters, allowing them to assess their capabilities during real-world training.

▪️Friday 16 June is Family Day, exclusively for DOD card holders. Come enjoy aerial performances and displays with your family before the weekend crowds. Family day begins at 11:30 a.m. DoD Cardholders may bring guests with valid photo ID. Visitors passes are not required for guests in same vehicle as the DoD cardholder.
▪️Friday is the recommended day to come see the show for friends and families! Real ID is not required for access to the Open House and Air Show.
