We are replacing lead service lines in Hamilton Township as part of Phase 4 of our Lead Service Line Replacement Program (LSLRP), a $10 million capital project. A publicly awarded contractor vendor, Dewcon, Inc., is conducting the work. We are funding this LSLRP phase in Hamilton Township with a New Jersey Infrastructure Bank loan supported by the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Since our program started construction in 2020, we have removed nearly 10,000 LSLs from our system, including at private homes, at no charge to our valued customers. We are at your service.

Our water filtration plant on Route 29 South in Trenton operated all night, producing more than 30 million gallons of water for our valued customers and service-area residents.

We have deactivated the interconnection with New Jersey American Water because we no longer need the five-million-gallons-a-day water supply. Pennington Avenue Reservoir storage levels have stabilized to a three-day finished water supply.

Five diesel-powered high-capacity pumps at the plant continue to draw water from the Delaware River, bypassing the primary intake screens and pumping raw water directly into the intake for screen-filtering by a secondary system.

System pressure is high and checked every four hours. We test your tap water hourly.

The Limit-Water-Use Advisory, issued on Wednesday, January 8, remains in force. Please only use tap water for essential purposes: drinking, cooking, sanitary (toilet flushing), and full dishwasher and washing machine loads.
