May is National Mental Health Awareness month.

Mental Health Awareness Month provides a chance to stand with your community and show that no one struggles alone.

If you are struggling and need support, you can reach out to us for help finding resources or you can call the NC Department of Health and Human Services' Su***de and Crisis Lifeline at 988. You can call, text, or chat 988 anytime for free and private support.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and to raise awareness, we've planted a pinwheel garden along the walkway leading to our agency. Together, we can support families and promote the healthy development of our children!

Jones County DSS will be closed Friday, April 3rd and Monday, April 6 in observance of the Easter holiday. We will reopen and resume normal business hours Tuesday, April 7th.
