Wayne Milford Road Closure
Wayne Milford road will be closed from approximately 8:30am-3:00pm on Thursday and Friday September 10th and September 11th for pavement repairs from the Wayne Township Road Dept. Prior to the Butler County Engineer’s culvert work beginning next week. Please be aware of these closures and plan accordingly. Thank you and we apology for the inconvenience of these closures.

WAYNE MILFORD ROAD CLOSING

The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that Wayne Milford Road will close 0.5 miles north of Tolbert Road and 0.6 miles south of Oxford Middletown Road for maintenance on two culverts for Milford Township beginning Monday, September 14, 2026. The road will be closed to all through traffic, with residential access maintained, and is expected to reopen on September 18.

Detour: Northbound Wayne Milford Road traffic will detour east on Tolbert Road, north on Waynes Trace Road, and west on Oxford Middletown Road. Southbound traffic will reverse this route.

Motorists are encouraged to check the BCEO website and PROJECTS MAP, as well as Facebook and X , for possible date and status changes concerning this and other closures/advisories.

Public announcement:

Wayne Township is excited to announce that both weather warning sirens are now operational. Testing will be the first Wednesday of each month. These sirens are controlled by Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
