A huge THANK YOU to Senator Troy Singleton for stepping up with a just-in-time donation of school supplies for Providence House Domestic Violence Services in Burlington County!

Going back to school is stressful enough – but for survivors who are working to rebuild their lives, having backpacks, notebooks, and school supplies ready to go makes all the difference for their children. Thanks to Senator Singleton, our families didn’t have the stress of not having enough, they had the confidence of starting the academic year with everything they needed.

We are so grateful to Senator Singleton for always supporting survivors and their children, and for demonstrating that leadership and service go hand in hand.

As an organization dedicated to the services of others, it shouldn’t be surprising that members of our team had a hand in helping in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.

On the 25th anniversary of this American tragedy, we’d like to share a page of our internal history, an article featured in an employee newsletter written by Judy Nath. It illustrates how we provided comfort and counseling in the wake of horrific loss and grief.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) hopes you will join them in asking your congressional representatives to support the American Dream and Promise Act, H.R. 1589. This bill would provide a fair, just and long-term solution for individuals bought to the United States who lack legal status (Dreamers) and those who are relying on temporary protected status (TPS). Providence House Domestic Violence Services of Ocean County is so grateful to all of our back-to-school donors! Thanks to our amazing community, the families we serve can start the school year with the supplies they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

We want to extend a very special thank you to the Manahawkin and Little Egg Harbor branches of Manasquan Bank for choosing us as the beneficiary of their Tools for School Fundraiser! They collected so many bags and boxes of much-needed supplies, and we are incredibly grateful for their support and generosity.

Thank you to everyone who donated, collected, and helped make this back-to-school season a little brighter for the families we serve. Your kindness truly makes a difference!
