82 years ago, Allied troops launched the D-Day invasion into occupied France, beginning the liberation of Europe and ultimately victory in World War II. Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell joined New Jersey’s commemoration with Commissioner of New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs Vincent Solomeno III and veterans, including multiple WWII veterans to honor the service and sacrifice of all who stormed the beaches that day.

While voters across the state yesterday were choosing nominees for federal, county, and local office, Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell, New Jersey OAG Jennifer Davenport, and New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness Director Tom Hauck visited the Regional Operations and Intelligence Center for an election security briefing. On May 20th, Council Program Officer Diane Felcyn attended the 2026 American Alliance of Museum’s Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo. The largest Museum conference in the world, the conference brought together museums of all types and sizes to share ideas and make transformational connections. Diane is a former museum professional who now works with New Jersey museums and visual arts organizations in her role at the Council. American Alliance of Museums
