Dade County Clerk of Superior & Juvenile Courts Kathy D. Page, Clerk of Dade County Superior & Juvenile Courts The Clerk of Superior Court is established in the Constitution of the State of Georgia.

The clerk is one of four constitution officers who can be found in each of the 159 counties in the state. The clerk's duties are statutory in nature and are found in the Official Code of Georgia in literally hundreds of statutes created by the state legislature. In addition, the clerk has an obligation to follow the court rules for each court they may serve. The clerk is specifically responsibile for the permanent recordation and preservation of records filed in the office including deeds, liens, plats, military discharge records, and notary public appointments. The Clerk also processes and manages civil and criminal court documents and all superior court proceedings. The Clerk is responsible for collecting and disbursing all superior court fees, fines, and costs. The Clerk runs the business arm of the local superior court system and answers first and foremost to the public, providing access to the records maintained in the office and ensuring that the interests and convenience of Dade County's citizens comes first.
