LGBTQI+ workers earn about 90 cents for every dollar paid to their cishet counterparts.

LGBTQI+ Equal Pay Awareness Day is an opportunity for us to commit to a future in which workers are paid fairly based on merit, and not bias and prejudice.

The World Cup is kicking off in New Jersey later today, and we're so excited (Olé, Olé, Olé!)! But just like with any big event, we need to be extra careful and extra vigilant regarding public safety, especially for our children.

Whether the World Cup or the State Fair, crowded events, busy shopping centers, and curious kids can create situations in which children and parents become separated. Follow these safety tips to keep your little one close and safe, and which steps you need to take if something happens.

May children who experience trauma may try to keep things to themselves, so we need to know the signs, and how to get help.

During Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month, we're learning that trauma can present in multiple ways, many of which can fly under our radar, unless you know what to look for and how to respond.

If your child is struggling, you can call our Children's System of Care (CSOC) at 1-877-652-7624. The line is open 24/7.

Because so many people rely on us, we don’t like to admit when we need help.

It's okay. We can’t always do it alone, and this work is stressful. Sometimes, we need to talk to someone who’s been in our shoes and knows the challenges of the job.

For DCF staff, the Helpline is there when you need support.
