The Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office is aware of videos posted on social media involving Cat in the Hat with names of "next victims". We have been investigating this issue and we are aware of who did the initial postings. Based on initial interviews we do not believe there is any imminent threat at this time. However, deputies will be posted at the High School in the morning

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 11 pm / 12 am MT / CT for the highlighted counties. The primary hazards are hail up to 1.5" and Damaging Winds up to 75 mph. Have a way to receive weather information and warnings!
