3 years today. Thank you, Gibson County, for letting me serve!
⚖️ 3 Years of Service ⚖️
It’s hard to believe, but September 1 marks three years since I was sworn in as your General Sessions Judge in Gibson County. Time has moved quickly, but the work has been meaningful.
In these three years, we’ve expanded Recovery Court and Veterans Court, giving more people the tools to rebuild their lives. We’ve grown the Choices & Consequences program to reach more students this year than in the previous two years combined. And we are laying the groundwork for a Mental Health Court, because we know the need is real.
This role is not just a position to me — it’s a calling. Each day, I walk into the courtroom determined to make it fair, efficient, and accessible for everyone who comes before it. My promise is to treat each person with dignity and respect, no matter their circumstances.
I truly love this job. I love this county. And I am grateful every single day for the trust you’ve placed in me. We are doing good work together, and there is still more ahead. Thank you, Gibson County, for letting me serve.
Also, I want to thank my staff, Angie Partee, Angie Duck, Jody Smith and Mike Scott. This is a team effort and they work hard every day.
