Celebrating a Legacy of Literacy, Kindness, and Service
Today, we celebrate the retirement of a truly special member of our school family, Martha Ann Patterson, after more than 25 years of dedicated service to our students, staff, and community.
As our reading interventionist, she has helped countless children discover the joy of reading and gain the confidence that comes from becoming successful readers. Her passion for literacy has changed lives, but those who know her best understand that her impact extends far beyond the pages of a book.
She has a heart for children, a passion for celebrating others, and a gift for building meaningful relationships. She has made it her mission to ensure that others feel seen, valued, and appreciated. Whether supporting a struggling reader, encouraging a colleague, or volunteering to take on a new task, her answer was always the same: "Yes, how can I help?"
Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support have helped shape the culture of our school for more than two decades. While we will miss seeing her in the hallways each day, the legacy she leaves behind will continue to inspire us for years to come.
Please join us in congratulating Martha Ann on her retirement and thanking her for the countless lives she has touched.
Congratulations, and thank you!
