Loni the cat is missing from her Steeplechase Drive home and her family is very concerned! Loni is a small gray cat with white paws and has been missing for a little over a day now. If you see her in the area of Steeplechase Drive /Horseshoe Bend/ Fox Horn Road please contact TWPD at (252) 637-3030.

The dog has been returned home.
Is anyone in the Steeplechase Drive area missing a heavy-set male black lab with a bright collar? He wandered up to a concerned resident a little bit ago and we are trying to reunite him with his owner.

We've noticed more residents using motorized bikes, electric scooters, and similar devices throughout town. The Trent Woods Police Department recommends some best practices for everyone to be SAFE and share the sidewalks safely.
• Wear a helmet
• Do not wear headphones
• Stay visible-wear bright clothes
• Do not text and ride or allow other distractions
• Do not ride after sunset when it gets darker outside
• Slow down and stop at all roadway crossings
• Use a bell or horn when approaching walkers/runners
• When approaching walkers/runners slow down and ensure you can safely pass and not startle them (you are typically moving much faster than they are).
• Become familiar with your electric bike, scooter or device before using

We want everyone to enjoy Trent Woods' amenities safely and respectfully. Parents, please ensure your children understand these safety practices and are ready to ride independently before allowing unsupervised use. If you have questions or concerns, contact us at 252-637-3030.

Earth Week begins Monday April 20th. All are welcome to join us at the Trent Woods Town Hall for the 10am and 2pm presentations, with complimentary coffee, water, snacks, and a free giveaway!

Wednesday, April 22nd at the Trent Woods Town Hall, Blue Hydrangea seedlings giveaway, from 1pm to 6pm or until they're gone!

If you plan to attend the Yoga classes at Cottle Park, please bring your own mat.
