My Fellow Republicans,
I’m Scott Sandall and as lifelong resident, rancher and business owner in Box Elder County I have appreciated all Ronda Menlove has done for us in the Utah State Legislature. I would like to congratulate Ronda on all her accomplishments and am excited to announce, with her retirement, my candidacy for House District 1 in the Utah State L
egislature. I believe that I will be able to continue Ronda’s great legacy and build upon the ground work she has laid in the past decade. I realize that you, as a past republican delegate, have a great influence in your area on what happens in the party. I would like to introduce myself and ask for your support as you attend your neighborhood caucus meetings on Thursday March 20. I wanted to help you know who I am and why I am running.
* Married to the former Christie Rose from Park Valley,Utah. We have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. With both of our parents in their senior years and our grandchildren growing up in this district, I can see the needs in our area through a full spectrum of time.
* Reside in Tremonton.
* Own and operate Sandall Ranches in Promontory as my full-time employment and have main street business investments in Tremonton. I feel this gives me a unique perspective into the city and rural life that makes our area so great.
* Graduated from Brigham Young University in agri-business management class of 1985
* Currently serve on Governor’s Quality Growth Commission
* Currently serving on Utah Farm Bureau State Board of Directors
* Past Box Elder County Farm Bureau President
* Served as a member of Bear River High School Community Council
* Active in church and community

Quality Economic Growth. We must provide an environment for clean industry, high-tech and small business growth in our end of the state. Quality Education. Our future depends on educating the next generation in the best most efficient ways possible. I love this area that we all call home—I feel it would be a privilege to represent the interests of our unique circumstances in the House of Representatives.
