aaaaaaand that's a wrap! The 2025-2026 Scouting season is "over" for Troop 34.

While our Tuesday night meetings go on summer vacation, we have many summertime activities planned:

June 20—26: National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT), Ge**er Scout Reservation
June 27-28: Log Cabin Day campout

July 1: High Adventure 2027 crew fundraising, 8:45AM—12PM
July 3: 2-4 volunteers needed at Open Ramp, USGC Air Station Traverse City, 5-8:00PM
July 8: 2-4 volunteers needed to run the Inflatable archery range at Cherrytown Fun Time, F&M Park 4-7PM.
July 8: reading of Declaration of Independence, 6-7 PM, Peninsula Community Library, 2893 Island View Road. There will be pie!
July 9: National Cherry Festival parade, 5:00-8:00PM
July 10: High Adventure Fundraising “Green Team” 3:45—7:45PM
July 12--18: Camp Rotary summer camp

August 7: Scenic Trails District Scout Night @ Pit Spitters
August 14: MEGA TRAINING WEEKEND. Leader-specific training at Camp Kellogg

September 8: 2026/2026 Troop 34 Season Opener! 6:30PM
September 11: 9/11 Scout Salute 8:00AM at Grand Traverse Metro Fire Station on Parsons Rd.
September 18-20: Operation Rendezvous!, Camp Grayling. This is a new event that looks uh-MAY-zing! Need commitments by August 24. https://michiganscouting.org/operation-rendezvous/
October 16-18: Trailblazer, Camp Kellogg.

Congratulations to Arthur L-L, Troop 34's most recent Eagle Scout! Arthur completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on May 29. Next time you are on the disc golf course at Camp Greilick, you'll enjoy his service project.
