Tomorrow, October 7, students and families at Cherry Knoll, East Middle School, and Central Grade are invited to walk, bike or roll to school with friends and neighbors.

Norte Youth Cycling will be supporting walk and bike trains, making the trip to school a little more fun and a great way to start the day together.

Days like this are a great reminder of how much fun it can be to walk, bike and get to school together. East Bay Township is currently working to make more connections through its Safe Routes to School project, which is now under construction.

Grab your bike, lace up your shoes and join the fun tomorrow!

On Wednesday, October 7, East Bay Township is celebrating ๐–๐š๐ฅ๐ค & ๐‘๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐จ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ with Norte supporting walk and bike trains at Cherry Knoll Elementary School - TCAPS and Central Grade.

Don't miss your final opportunity this season to have your child's car seat checked by the experts!

Join us tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, from 2โ€“6 PM at the East Bay Corners Farmers Market for a FREE car seat safety check provided by Safe Kids North Shore, led by the Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will:
โ€ข Ensure your child's car seat is the right fit based on their age, height, and weight.
โ€ข Review Michigan car seat laws and current safety recommendations.
โ€ข Guide you through the proper installation of your child's car seat.

Each safety check takes approximately 30โ€“60 minutes, depending on your vehicle and car seat.

Assessors are the people who make sense of parcels, property records, taxable values, exemptions, and more...we appreciate their accuracy, knowledge, patience, and the great service they provide to East Bay Township residents every day.
