Veterans, it’s time to take care of you.

After service, regular health checkups are more important than ever. Underlying illnesses, trauma, and mental health conditions can go untreated if you’re not sure what to watch out for. And over time, those issues can grow worse. So make sure you’re looking out for your health!

If you need some assistance getting the services or coverage you need, we can help.

For 77 years, we've been creating unforgettable summer experiences for kids ages 7–12 for civilian and military-connected families alike without regard to affiliation to the VFW.

We believe every child deserves the chance to experience camp. That's why we've kept camp affordable and accessible while delivering a week packed with adventure, friendship, and growth. Camp Trotter is a state-licensed residential camp on the shores of Bills Lake in Newaygo County, wholly owned and operated by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Michigan.

We often hear about the mental health benefits of physical exercise—but even a few minutes at a time throughout the day can make a meaningful difference.

This can be especially helpful for those experiencing frequent waves of stress, anxiety, or PTSD symptoms. Taking just 1–2 minutes to move your body can help interrupt that stress response and bring you back to baseline.

If you’re looking for additional mental health support, reach out to our team. We can connect you with professionals who specialize in veteran care.
