Father Fred Foundation

Father Fred Foundation We listen. We care. We share. Serving 5 counties in northern Michigan, we strive
to help everyone who comes to seek assistance
with their essential needs.

The Father Fred Foundation is here to ensure that the basic human needs of our neighbors and friends in need are met.We provide food, clothing and household goods, and financial assistance to families in need in our five-county area. In the words of Father Fred himself, we are here to listen, care, share, and above all, provide hope for those who find themselves in difficult times. Our goal is to ensure that no one in our community falls through the cracks -- and we do all this without accepting any state or federal aid.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we collected 488 boxes of food, surpassing last year’s total, and more than $15,000 in monetary donations, also well above last year’s contributions! We couldn’t have done it without you!

100% of every item and dollar donated goes directly toward helping individuals and families in need. 💙

A special thank you to Tom's Food Markets and Oleson's Food Stores for hosting the food drive, and to Fox Grand Traverse Ford and Williams Chevrolet Honda Kia for collecting food. Thanks also to Target and State Trooper Sysko for helping collect donations. Thank you all for your partnership and continued support! 💙

To everyone who helped, whether by volunteering in the stores, driving, sorting donations, or contributing food and funds, thank you for being part of this incredible community effort. Together, we’re making a difference for our neighbors in need! 💙
