🌱🧄 Summer may be in full swing, but our students’ hard work is still on display at Greenspire!

Check out this beautiful garlic harvested that our students planted earlier this year. Their effort continues to bloom (and taste amazing!) even while school’s out.

🍦 Don’t forget! Our Ice Cream Social is this Thursday, 4:30–6:30 PM.
Come hang out in the courtyard, play games, and meet new friends — or reconnect with old ones. We can’t wait to see you there! 💚

Bike and Roll to School Day was a big success! 🚴‍♀️🎉
Our students had a blast—and many are already asking to make it a regular event! Thanks to the Traverse City Police Department for the safe and supportive es**rt to school. We’re also incredibly grateful to Fitz and Paige for organizing such a fun and memorable morning.

🌎 A Big Day for Our Students, Our River, and the Earth! 🌊

Today, we celebrated a huge milestone—our Sturgeon Release and Earth Day Celebration was a success! 🎉 Thanks to the Sturgeon in the Classroom project, students helped release Billie-i-Fish into the Boardman River, along with two other juvenile sturgeon. 🐟

A huge thank-you to Kris Galoci and our partners from the Tribe for making this unforgettable experience possible. 💙

Students also got hands-on with a variety of Earth Day stations. It was an amazing day of connection, learning, and celebration!

Maple Fest 2025 was a sweet success! 🍁🥞

This morning, students jumped into sugaring season with hands-on fun—from pouring their own homemade maple syrup over pancakes to sampling local syrups, aging trees, and even tapping a tree stump!

Huge thanks to Fitz and all the amazing volunteers who helped out or donated materials. You helped make this day truly memorable! 💛

It was the perfect blend of curiosity, community, and a little maple magic.
