7 members received life saving awards Monday night at council. The department had just completed our Emergency Medical Responder refresher course just days prior. We are grateful for the positive outcome of this event and congratulate those involved for their quick response.

This is ONE of the reasons why Tracy is a great place to live!! Awards were handed out to these HEROES at last night council meeting! Atleast they are to Trent Fischer and anyone else who has needed their services! They were acknowledged for their time and commitment to the EMS, Police and Fire Services for not only their time responding to calls of service but also for countless hours of training that is required to answer these calls!!! Tracy is beyond fortunate to have such dedicated people on call to help where help is needed! Please take a second to thank them!

We are excited to announce that Parker, Josh, and Trevor have completed their fire fighter 1 and 2 training. They are now fully trained and certified to perform all duties.
This training takes lot of time and effort to complete and pass. There was many hours put in studying and practicing for the tests and practicals.
All fire fighters must complete this training before they can pass probation. Even though we are a part time volunteer department, we train and drill as if we are a full time department. Just because the official testing and certifications are achieved, we never stop learning.
We take our training and mission of protecting the citizens and visitors of our area seriously and continue to build and sharpen our skills as a whole department.
If you see these three lads around town, congratulate them for their accomplishment and dedication to the protecting the community.
Way to go Parker, Josh, and Trevor!
