'Eric's ID Law' became effective yesterday, 10/01/2025. 👏🏽

A designation of a special butterfly logo is available on licenses and ID cards. The goal is to help police identify Marylanders with hidden disabilities such as developmental or intellectual disabilities. Autism would be one example.
The designation is done per request. So, if you have a loved one (student, child, adult, etc.) that would be impacted by this, spread the word and make sure that person gets to MVA for this amazing addition to their license or ID.
When we know better, we do better.
