On Monday, August 3rd, Department of Planning completed a tour of the Road to Freedom Trail. Led by the Northeast Towson Improvement Association (NeTIA), the Road to Freedom Trail is a proposed multi-use trail that traces the historical connection between historic East Towson, Baltimore's oldest African American community, and Hampton National Historic Site, a former plantation, linking landmarks and historic African American communities throughout Towson along the way.

Some the locations we visited included:
๐Ÿ“Hampton National Historic Site, Goucher College, Truth & Community Remembrance Park, Carver Community Center, and the Jacob House Log Cabin.
