𝐖𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

We have just been informed by PennDOT that the Wyalusing bridge is now reopened to traffic.

We would like to extend our thanks to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and all those contracted agencies involved in being able to reopen this vital stretch of roadway and to come in ahead of schedule.

Please also use this as an opportunity to remember to check your load heights and plan your routes accordingly.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 & 𝗘𝗠𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁
The Department of Public Safety and Bradford County Commissioners held our first annual Fire and EMS Recognition Night last evening to recognize Bradford County certified EMS providers and those obtaining certification as Fire Fighter I.

The event included guest speakers from EMS of Northeast PA and the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner.

Thank you to all those in attendance and that have taken the next step in gaining professional certifications.

Due to ongoing roadwork please expect significant delays and stalled traffic cues on the Golden Mile (Route 6) through Wysox.
We are receiving multiple reports of hour plus length delays through the area.

Please seek alternative routes and avoid the area if possible.

Vehicle Rescue Course
There are still a couple openings in this class that need filled for it to be a go. Registration has been extended till Thursday evening (4/30). Please do not wait to get signed up.

Class Cancelled - As part of the continued government shutdown of Homeland Security, the Federally Funded DART class for tomorrow has to be cancelled. Those individuals that had pre-registered received an email earlier in the week.

We will maintain the roster of those that registered and reach out as soon as we can bring this program back to the area.
