Mail forwarding takes about 10–14 days to start, so don’t wait until the last minute!

USPS Hold Mail service can hold your mail safely at your local Post Office facility until you return, for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 30 days.

Steps to Submit a USPS Hold Mail Request:
• Create or sign in to your USPS.com account.
• Go to USPS Hold Mail and follow the steps to verify your identity.
• Once your identity has been verified successfully, you won't have to complete this step again for your current address.

📬 Friendly Reminder for HOA & Community Mailbox Residents with shared parcel lockers.

👉 Please check your mail regularly — especially right now.

During the holiday season, package volume is extremely high. When parcel lockers are not cleared, our carriers can’t use them for new deliveries.

What happens then?
📦 Packages that should go in lockers
➡️ Have to be hand delivered instead
➡️ Adds extra time, extra miles, and longer days
➡️ Slows delivery for everyone in the community

CBUs are designed so mail and packages are picked up at one central location. When lockers stay full because mail isn’t being checked, it creates a bottleneck during our busiest time of the year.

How you can help:
✔️ Check your mailbox frequently
✔️ Pick up packages as soon as possible
✔️ Especially important during November–January

This small step makes a BIG difference for our rural route carriers and helps keep deliveries running smoothly for your entire neighborhood.
