We have our winners for this year's bookmark design contest! Congratulations to Evie S. (Prescott), Hunter M. (Burbank), Aubree A. (Touchet) and Alexis E. (Burbank). Competition was tough this year and some of the votes were pretty close. We would like to thank all of the incredibly creative participants and entries and encourage everyone to enter again next year! Under the direction of the Branch Operations Coordinator, the Districtwide Substitute Library Assistant is responsible for working as part of the staff team to support circulation and customer service functions. The assistant works as a main point of contact at the front desk and aids in circulation duties, shelving, programming support, and other duties as needed. This position does not have set or guaranteed hours but rather is called upon to fill in at District library branches for planned and unplanned absences of staff. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation that would allow them to work at District branches across Walla Walla County (Burbank, College Place, Prescott, Touchet, and Vista Hermosa). This position is based out of the Administrative Center in Walla Walla.
