The New Jersey State Organization of Cystic Fibrosis was founded in 1977 to provide direct, hands on assistance to cystic fibrosis patients throughout the state. NJSOCF also provides referrals and educational materials to patients and their families. the organization is known for its understanding attitude and willingness to provide emotional support to patients that seek it. NJSOCF knows that living with cystic fibrosis is very expensive and that sometimes a sudden financial crisis, often provoked by unemployment and loss of insurance, can arise. We use donated dollars to help purchase the daily necessities of living with CF. Services are available to eligible patients from birth to adulthood. Our sole focus is on New Jersey residents and their families. We provide all of our services at no charge to patients and are known for our compassionate and caring attitude. We also pride ourselves on the fact that almost all of the funds we receive and raise go to program services.
