Give • Share • Reuse!

Join us on Saturday, September 26, 2026 — Rain or Shine! Help give pre-loved items a second chance while finding something new-to-you. 💚

📍 Totowa Public Library
📦 Donation Drop-Off: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
🛍️ Freecycle Event: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1️⃣ Register Online
Totowa residents who would like to bring items must register in advance at www.totowapl.org.

⚠️ Space is limited to 40 households, so be sure to register early!

2️⃣ Tell Us What You're Bringing
During registration, you will be asked to list the items you plan to bring.

Each household may bring a maximum of 12 items.

3️⃣ Make Sure Your Items Are Ready
Items must be:

✅ Clean
✅ Usable
✅ In good condition
✅ Something you would feel comfortable giving to a friend

4️⃣ Drop Off Your Items
Registered participants may bring their items to the library between:

🕗 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Please have your items dropped off before the Freecycle Event begins.

5️⃣ Have a Large or Bulky Item?
🏠 Leave it at home!

During registration, let us know if you have a large item you would like included on our Freecycle Bulletin Board. Please provide the item name, a brief description, and approximate dimensions.

Library staff will contact you for a photo and any additional information needed.

🔒 Your name and phone number will not be publicly displayed.

6️⃣ Shop & Find Treasures!
From 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, stop by and browse the items looking for a new home.

💚 All are welcome to browse!

7️⃣ Remember to Pick Up Unclaimed Items
Participants are responsible for picking up any of their items that remain at the end of the event. Library staff will contact you directly if you have items that need to be picked up.

The library reserves the right to decline items that are not appropriate for the event.
