⭐ SOLDIER SPOTLIGHT: PFC Cailynn Alonzo-Reko⭐

At just 18 years old, Cailynn Alonzo-Reko is already making her mark in the Wyoming Army National Guard. 🇺🇸

Kaitlynn earned Distinguished Honor Graduate honors from Basic Combat Training an accomplishment that reflects her dedication, discipline, and drive to succeed.

Now, she’s taking that same determination into the classroom at the University of Wyoming, where she plans to major in Physiology and minor in Psychology. She’s also taken the next step in her military career by joining the Officer Candidate Program while serving as a 68E, Dental Specialist.

From excelling at Basic Training to pursuing her education and preparing for future leadership, Kaitlynn is showing what’s possible when you set your goals high and put in the work.

Her journey is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see the Soldier and leader she becomes.

The future is bright, Cailynn keep pushing forward! Welcome to the Wyoming Army National Guard.

🌟 Honoring our military families! 💜

The Wyoming Army National Guard Family Support Group was honored to join Gilcrist Elementary School in Cheyenne as they celebrated their Purple Star designation.

This recognition highlights Gilchrist Elementary’s commitment to supporting military-connected students and families through transitions, deployments, and the unique challenges that come with military life.

We are proud to see a Cheyenne elementary school go above and beyond to ensure military children feel welcomed, supported, and valued. It was an honor to celebrate alongside Governor Mark Gordon, Superintendent Megan Degenfelder, and leadership from F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

Thank you, Gilchrist Elementary, for showing our military families that they are seen, supported, and part of our community. 🇺🇸💜

🐾 Happy National Dog Day!🇺🇸

Not all service members wear a uniform. Some have four legs, a wagging tail, and an incredible sense of duty. 🐕‍🦺

Military working dogs have served alongside our nation’s military for generations protecting their teammates, detecting threats, searching for the missing, and doing their jobs with unmatched loyalty and courage.

Today, we’re giving a salute to the four-legged service members who answer the call every day. 🫡🐾

Different uniform. Same mission.
