May 15th, 5AM - A roller coaster weather pattern will take shape Friday through Tuesday, with Friday seeing critical fire danger with very warm temperatures and widespread snowfall returning Monday. Saturday and Sunday both have the threat for severe weather, with a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather in place both days. A very strong cold front moves through Sunday into Monday, with rain changing to rain/snow then widespread snow throughout the morning hours. Snow and rain come to an end Tuesday, then a slow warming trend starts. Buckle up!

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Goshen County Clerk’s Office and the Goshen County Treasurer’s Office will be closed on Wednesdays from 7:30 am-1:00 pm for training purposes. Items may be deposited in the designated drop boxes on the north side of the building.

Today's moisture was welcomed however, it wasn't enough to impact our drought conditions. Saturday will be breezy with really low relative humidity creating the perfect conditions for quick spreading fires. This prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Red Flag Warning effective 11am Saturday morning through 8pm Saturday evening. Remember, Goshen County is under Fire Restrictions, which can be found on our webpage at www.goshencountywy.gov
