Freeman Public Affairs, Inc. Adds Distinguished International Awards
Torrance, CA – November 24, 2014. The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals has recently awarded local political consulting firm Freeman Public Affairs, Inc. four, 2014 MarCom Awards.
Created to recognize outstanding achievement in marketing and communications, the AMCP offers fair, independent, international competitions. The MarCom Awards honor excellence and originality in the concept, writing and design of multi-media materials and programs. This year there were over 6,000 entries.
Jim Freeman, President of Freeman Public Affairs, comments, “We’re excited and privileged to be recognized for our work. It’s always fulfilling when your peers acknowledge your creativity.”
The veteran political consulting firm received two Platinum awards: one for Absolute Drunk!, on behalf of the Committee of Police and Fire Associations, and another for No More Mendez!, on behalf of Citizens for Better Government. The firm also received two gold awards: one for Roulette Wheel, on behalf of the Monterey Park Police Officers’ Association, and the other for Great News!, on behalf of the City of Rialto.
Says Gabriel Escarsega, president of the Monterey Park Police Officers’ Association, “We speak for the men and women who risk their lives to protect our neighborhoods. When our officers noticed a growing criminal threat in Monterey Park, Freeman Public Affairs helped us bring that message to the public. Our citizens took notice and took action and our city is safer today for it.”
The firm adds its recent winnings to a growing list of accolades that include four elite Pollie awards, granted by the American Association of Political Consultants, and a 2011 Summit International Award. Says Freeman, “I like to think of our agency as a small, dedicated team of professionals with a big reach. Originality has always played a key role in our success and it’s nice to see others in the industry realize this too.”
Freeman Public Affairs has been providing broad-spectrum campaign solutions for elected officials, public interest groups and trade associations throughout California for over a decade. For more information visit www.FreemanPA.com.
