This prestigious recognition from the California Department of Education honors schools across California that demonstrate outstanding student achievement and a strong commitment to supporting the success of all students.

This award reflects the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, staff, families, and the entire Tartar community. Through strong academics, meaningful student opportunities, and a commitment to helping every student thrive, Torrance High continues to build a culture of excellence.

The California Dashboard is an annual State-run school report card which measures performance indicators including College & Career Readiness (highest in THS and TUSD history!), Graduation Rate (highest in TUSD), Suspension Rate, EL, Math, ELA, and Science.

THS is the only TUSD high school to rank Very High (blue) or High (green) for every performance indicator! We are incredibly proud of our students and faculty!
