Torrance-Lomita Meals on Wheels A non-profit volunteer community service organization since 1972 providing home delivered meals

Our meals are prepared, cooked and packaged by the Salvation Army, Redondo Beach. They deliver the hot and cold meals to our office location at 3510 Maricopa in Torrance. For each client, we deliver two meals: one hot meal to be eaten at midday and a cold meal for the evening. The meals are delivered to our 100+ clients between 11:30am and 1pm, five days a week, Monday through Friday, except on ho

lidays. Meals are planned by a registered dietician and are nutritionally balanced to include each of the four main food groups and provide two-thirds of the Recommended Daily Allowance. Our many volunteers, in teams of two (driver and rider), donate their time by delivering the meals to our homebound clients.
