The Torrance Youth Council is an advisory body to the City Council on issues pertaining to youth. The Council is made up two representatives from Torrance, South, North, West and Shery High Schools, as well as Bishop Montgomery, CAMS and two members at large. The primary purpose of the Youth Council is to identify youth needs, suggesting possible solutions and to officially represent the City in youth affairs.
