Military Families Support Program (MFSP)

Military Families Support Program (MFSP) MFSP An estimated 2 million service members have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11. Families and children are equally impacted.

As many as one-third returning from deployment today suffer from persistent combat stress reactions. In response, the University of Southern California School of Social Work and the Torrance-South Bay YMCA have established a community-based Military Families Support Program to address the unique mental health, physical, and transitional concerns of service members, veterans, and their families.
