Our four-legged fire prevention crew is back on the job! 🐐 The goats are helping reduce wildfire risk by clearing dry vegetation in key areas throughout the city. Over the next few weeks, they’ll be grazing their way from the Walteria Reservoir near the tennis courts to the Via Corona hillside and along Elm Avenue. Help Keep Torrance Safe Through Community Partnership!

The Torrance Police Department is expanding efforts to support our Real Time Response Center (RTRC) through the new .enterprise Fusus Community Camera Registration Program at SecureTorrance.org.

This voluntary program allows residents and businesses to register the location of their security cameras with the Department to help investigators quickly identify potential video resources during critical incidents and investigations.
🔹 Voluntary participation
🔹 No cost to register
🔹 No automatic Department access to cameras or footage
🔹 Privacy protected
🔹 Helps support investigations and real-time response efforts

Important: Registering your camera does NOT give the Department live access to your cameras or stored video. If footage may assist in an investigation, investigators would simply contact the owner directly.
