The next item we’re showcasing for the Toronto Fire Department Fall Bash is the WK Rescue Axe Gen 4 from our friends at Winkler Knives!

CONGRATULATIONS, CHEZNIE ALLISON! 🚑🎉

We would like to give a huge congratulations to Cheznie Allison on officially passing her EMT certification!

Cheznie is one of four students who joined the Toronto Explorer Post, a collaboration between the Toronto Fire Department and TEMS Joint Ambulance District that was started a few years ago to introduce local high school students to the fire and EMS fields and give them an opportunity to experience what it means to be a first responder.

These four young people have truly set the bar high for every student who follows them. We couldn't be prouder of what all four of them have accomplished. They have absolutely knocked it out of the park with the training, certifications, hard work, and dedication they have shown at such a young age.

Today, we are especially proud to recognize Cheznie for reaching another huge milestone by earning her EMT certification! 👏🚑
The future of our local emergency services is bright when we have young people like these four stepping up, putting in the work, and choosing to serve their communities.
