The appointment will be considered at the regular meeting on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Mullett Township Hall at 6:30 PM, 1491 N Straits Hwy, Topinabee, MI 49791. All applicants must be a registered voter in Mullett Township.

After the recent storms, several drop-off sites are available for residents to dispose of storm-related debris like tree limbs and brush.

This service is free and for storm debris only. No household garbage or furniture will be accepted.

Drop-Off Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM

Drop-Off Locations:
• Levering Pit – 11184 Levering Rd
• Gildner Pit – US 23 South
• Meyer Pit – 3801 Meyer Pit Rd
• CCRC Pit – 3948 Indian Trail Rd
• Aloha Twp. Dump – Pallister Rd
• Burt Twp. Dump – Woodrose Rd
• Road Commission Pit – 1302 W. Devereaux Lake Rd
• Road Commission Pit – 9677 Gravel Pit Rd
• Tuscarora Twp. Dump – 4653 Brudy Rd
• Glancy Pit – Hutchinson Rd

Reminders:
• Storm debris only (branches, brush, tree limbs)
• No trash, furniture, or household items
• Drive carefully – sites may be busy
• Be cautious when unloading

Do not place debris at the end of your driveway, in ditches, or in public easements. This blocks cleanup crews and slows progress. The Road Commission will not remove debris from private property or roadsides.

Special Meeting of the Mullett Township Board of Trustees tonight at the Hall at 6:30pm to discuss storm damage repairs to the Hall. Still no power so dress warmly.

Remember that the March Board of Review meets at the Mullett Township Hall on Monday and Tuesday, March 10th and 11th. Also on the 10th at 6:30 pm is the Annual Meeting of the Electors and the Public Hearing for the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. Looking forward to seeing all interested constituents then.
