We are SO excited to announce that on Thursday, August 5th at 7:00pm we are hosting a “Meet the Author” event at our Topinabee Library! We will be joined by the amazing author, Leah Weiss. Best known for her books “If the creek don’t rise” “All the little hopes” and her newest release, “The Creek, the Crone and the Crow”.
Be sure to join us at the Topinabee Library for a wonderful evening of light refreshments and great conversation with Author Leah Weiss.

SOME ENCOURAGING NEWS… 😊

The results are in — ahead of schedule. 🌊

All five Mullett Lake and adjacent sites tested well below the EGLE safe limit of 300 CFU for E. coli. Results for Aloha will come out next week. The highest reading was 31.8 — well below any level for concern.

This was the first expanded test since the spring flooding, made possible by MAPS' support for DHD4's Bathing Beach Monitoring Program. More data, better picture.

Repeat testing planned for next week. We'll keep you posted. Follow us for updates.
