On Thursday, May 14th, Westview School Corporation proudly celebrated our 2025-2026 retirees. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your dedication, hard work, and years of service to our students, staff, and community. Together, this incredible group represents a combined 199 years of experience - a legacy that has made a lasting impact on Westview.

Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for everything you have given over the years. Wishing you all the best in this exciting new chapter!

Please be advised that there will be no school for students on Thursday, May 14. This date is designated as a Professional Development Day, allowing our faculty and staff to engage in essential training and collaborative planning.

Regularly scheduled classes will resume on Friday, May 15. We appreciate your continued support and cooperation.

This week Dr. Carroll and Mrs. Stout had the honor of visiting classrooms across Westview and personally presenting special recognition awards to six outstanding 3rd grade students who were recognized as National Math Stars through the Indiana Department of Education partnership program. These students were identified based on their exceptional performance and high achievement on the iLEARN Math Checkpoint assessment, which recognizes students demonstrating advanced mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills at an early age.

It was truly exciting to celebrate these students alongside their classmates and teachers and recognize the hard work, perseverance, and academic excellence they have demonstrated. We are incredibly proud of these students for their dedication to learning, and we also want to recognize our teachers for the strong instructional foundation they continue to provide for our students each day.

Wednesday Fun Facts Featuring Transportation Director, Yvonne Eash!

This is Yvonne's 33rd year at Westview and the last 5 she has been the Director of Transportation, Buildings and Grounds!

Favorite Bus Memory - I love visiting with the kiddos on the sidewalk at dismissal! There are a lot of fist bumps, high fives and a few hugs!
Dream job as a child - Special Needs Teacher
Coolest thing you have done - Vacationed in Hawaii and went parasailing with my dad and snorkeling with my husband!
Hobbies - Camping, reading, doing anything that involves spending time with my family!
Fun fact about yourself - I grew up with standardbred race horses. Both my father and father in law own standardbred horses and now my son is a part owner of one!
