Auburn Washburn Parents as Teachers USD 437 Welcome to USD 437 PAT on Facebook! We are located inside Farley Elementary.

Auburn-Washburn Parents as Teachers (PAT) provides parent education services to families living in USD 437 that have children prenatal to age 3. The free and voluntary services include home visits, developmental screenings, resource network referrals, playgroups, resource library, and parent and parent-child informational group meetings.

🌳 Story Walk in the Park – June 18th! 🌳

Join us for a fun, family-friendly outdoor literacy event!

Take a stroll through the park and enjoy a children’s story posted along the path. Then stick around for a Teddy Bear Picnic! 🧸🥪

Bring your family, bring a lunch, and bring a stuffed animal for a relaxed picnic in the park. It’s a great way to enjoy fresh air, movement, and story time together!

Due to the forecasted chance for heavy rain this Friday morning, we are canceling our "Fun in the Sun" Group Connection that was planned for tomorrow, May 29th. ☔

We have planned some other fun "pop-up" group connections throughout the summer, so keep checking our social media page for updates and details coming soon! We look forward to seeing your family at a future event.

☀️ Fun in the Sun Update ☀️

Due to tomorrow’s cooler temperatures, we’ve decided to postpone our Fun in the Sun Group Connection. Unfortunately, with morning temperatures predicted to be in the low 60s it will be just a bit too chilly for little ones to fully enjoy all the water activities we have planned!

Because we want "Fun in the Sun" to be an enjoyable experience for all, we decided to shift gears and now plan to host the event next Friday, May 29th from 9:30-11 a.m.

We will continue to monitor weather for next week as well, and will share another update as we get closer. Keep checking our page for details.

☀️ All families are invited to join us for some “Fun in the Sun”! ☀️

Plan to spend this Friday morning with us on the Farley playground, giving your kiddos a chance to get outside, explore, and enjoy a little messy water play. It’s a relaxed, come-as-you-are kind of morning where families can connect while the children play.

We’ll have a variety of outdoor activities and water fun set up, so we hope you can join us for a busy morning together!

Put a little extra spring in Mom’s step and join us for a special Mother’s Day playgroup tomorrow! 🌷 We’ll be celebrating all the amazing moms and caregivers in our lives with a fun morning of play, connection, sweet treats, and yummy coffee drinks together. 💕

Here’s what’s happening with PAT in the month of May! Our playgroup calendar may look a little more open than usual as we begin winding down for the summer, but there’s still plenty of fun ahead. We’re excited to close out the playgroup season with THREE(!) group connections, plus an evening playgroup to bring families together. We hope you’ll join us for these final gatherings of the school year!
