Today has weighed heavily on all of us. Three deputies from the Osage County Sheriff’s Office and a Kansas State Trooper were injured while answering the call to serve and protect—something each of them does with courage every single day.
To our brothers and sisters in Osage County and the Kansas Highway Patrol: please know that you are not facing this moment alone. We are standing shoulder to shoulder with you, lifting each of the injured officers and their families in our thoughts and prayers.
We pray for healing, strength, and comfort—for them, for their loved ones, and for every member of their departments who is hurting tonight.
In times like these, the law enforcement family pulls even closer together. And today, our hearts are with you. 💙
