KDOT maintenance crews are working to repair or replace missing signs while also assessing the numbers of signs that were damaged or displaced after high winds and storms impacted parts of the state on June 8th.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution and alert.

Parts of Kansas are under a flood watch as severe storms move back into the area. It only takes a few inches to knock you over and even a foot of water could cause smaller vehicles to float. Larger vehicles can be swept away at 2-3 feet

Motorists, especially commercial vehicle operators, are advised to follow the official KDOT detour route, which utilizes state highways designed to accommodate higher traffic volumes and heavier loads.
